If you plan to bring a mobility scooter on the trip, it is essential that you book it in advance.

Failure to do so may result in us being unable to accommodate the scooter on the coach, as we must ensure the appropriate ramp and space are available.

The Phantom of the Opera is a dramatic and atmospheric musical set within the Paris Opera House, but it includes some mature and potentially unsettling elements. Themes include obsession, control, jealousy, and unrequited love, alongside moments of suspense and emotional intensity. There are depictions of threatening behaviour, a few on-stage deaths, and scenes that may feel dark or frightening, particularly involving the Phantom himself. The production also features loud music, sudden dramatic moments, and theatrical effects that heighten tension; however, these darker aspects are balanced by a sweeping romantic storyline, iconic music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and spectacular staging, making it generally suitable for audiences aged 10 and above, though younger or more sensitive viewers may find certain scenes intense.

The Phantom of the Opera tells the story of a mysterious masked figure who lives beneath the Paris Opera House and becomes obsessed with a young soprano, Christine. As he secretly trains and guides her, his love turns darker, leading to manipulation, jealousy, and a dramatic love triangle. Blending classical and operatic influences with powerful ballads and traditional musical theatre, the show’s grand score plays a central role in its storytelling. With iconic songs such as “The Music of the Night,” “All I Ask of You,” and “Think of Me,” alongside its famous chandelier moment, rich gothic atmosphere, and timeless mix of romance and tragedy, it remains one of the most celebrated and visually striking productions in theatre history.
